The Right Dental Implant for Your Condition
Choosing the right dental implant depends on your oral health, bone density, and how many teeth need replacement. Here's a quick overview to help you understand which option may be right for you:
1All-on-4 Implants
All-on-4 is ideal for patients who have lost most or all teeth in one arch. This cost-effective solution provides a permanent, natural-looking set of teeth with fewer implants and a quicker recovery.
2All-on-6 Implants
Similar to All-on-4 but with six implants, this option provides greater support and long-term durability that is often recommended for patients with stronger bone structure who want added reinforcement.
3Same Day Dental Implants
If you're a candidate with good bone health, this procedure allows implants and temporary crowns to be placed in a single visit leading to walking in with missing teeth and walking out with a new smile.
43D Guided Implant Surgery
Utilizing 3D imaging and digital planning as this advanced method ensures your implants are placed with maximum accuracy. Ideal for patients seeking precision, reduced surgery time, and optimal long-term outcomes.

Dental Implants: Frequently Asked Questions

A dental implant can be done right after the tooth extraction on the same day or after 3–6 months so that the mouth gets enough time to heal after the extraction procedure.
Dental implants are titanium prosthetic tooth roots that are surgically inserted into the mandible. They offer a strong base onto which removable or permanent replacement teeth that mimic your natural teeth can be affixed. If you have lost teeth because of an accident, decay, or other causes, implants can help you smile again both functionally and aesthetically.
Typically, the dental implant process takes several months and multiple steps. The implant is first inserted surgically into the mandible. An abutment is fastened to the implant following a few months of the implant integrating with the bone (a process known as osseointegration). Lastly, the repair is completed by placing a specially manufactured crown on the abutment. Both local anesthetic and, occasionally, sedation are used for the entire procedure.
A dental implant procedure for a single tooth may take about 1–2 hours. The entire implant procedure may take about 3–4 months to complete in cases where bone grafting is not required. For some cases where bone grafting is required the healing duration may exceed up to 9 months.
Cases where bone is inadequate to support an implant, our implantologist uses innovative techniques to expand the bony ridge & use bone grafts to augment the deficient bone.
In the upper arch, a sinus lift procedure can also be done to place an implant where the bone is deficient. Digital Implant Surgery is a very good tool to plan the guided placement & angulation of the implant to the area of maximum thickness of bone.
We believe that a well-equipped treatment plan is imperative to the success of dental implants. At Dr. Joy Dental Clinics, we have successfully placed numerous implants and never encountered the need to remove an implant or replace it with a new one even after years. Ideally, we provide a 10-year warranty (T&C Apply) with our dental implants treatment but with proper oral care, the lifespan of a dental implant is 25+ years.
Modern dental implant treatment is a straightforward, minimally-invasive process that’s easier than having a tooth removed. Thanks to our in-house digital 3D planning process, your implant treatment is streamlined for shorter placement times and quicker recovery. Most people can complete their treatment with a small amount of local anesthetic (numbing medication) and little or no over-the-counter pain medication afterward. Sedation dentistry is also available.
